Sales jobs: The right haircut can give you the edge Women wanting to make the right impression at a job interview need the right haircut, according to one expert. Celebrity hairstylist Wendy Iles made the comments, which could interest people looking for sales jobs, and said women should never forget their image when trying to get hired. She said: "Have your hair looking fresh and clean. Don't hide under your hair. If you have bangs, be sure they have been trimmed to a fresh length to show eye contact." Touching your hair throughout the interview is not advised by the stylist, who said wearing a comfortable style is the best way to avoid this. Other tips included being sure to match your hair cut with the shape of your face. For example, centre partings work for people with round faces and women with square countenances suit longer locks. Tom Hadley, director of external relations at the Recruitment and Employment Confederation, recently said that people should try and improve their CV with additional skills in order to stand out.
