Unidrill has a good mix of drill rig types to cater for the extensive bored pile and
drilling market in Sydney, country NSW and ACT.
Our truck-mounted EDS Auger Rigs are most suitable for shoring piles
and smaller foundation piles.
Our crawler-based drill rigs enhance our capacity for deeper piles and
drilling in stronger rock formations.
Our Calweld Bucket Drill Rigs are highly mobile and suitable for large
and deep bored piles in open site projects and rail and road bridge and retaining wall
structures. Calweld rigs are also used extensively in mining, for large diameter bulk
sampling programs.
However Calweld rigs, although versatile and very economical to run,
use older drilling technology and will be progressively replaced by Mait type rigs, both
truck and track mounted.
