Unidrill was established by Alan Wallace in 1967. Alan has remained the company’s chairman, managing director and sole owner to this day.
     The company has earned an impressive record in the drilling and piling industry. It is considered a leader in the bored pile sector of the building and construction industry, both in terms of market share and expertise.
    Unidrill is a principal contractor to major Australian building and construction companies and to State and Commonwealth construction authorities.
    The company operates a large fleet of drilling rigs from its premises at Girraween in Sydney.
   Unidrill has always maintianed good relations with its employees and with unions.

    Earthmoving Drilling Supply Co was formed in 1974 in a partnership between Unidrill and a then employee, J. W. McGuiness.
E.D.S. has been responsible for the manufacture of drilling rigs and equipment for Unidrill and external companies.
Unidrill anticipates that it will soon own 100 per cent of Earthmoving Drilling Supply Co.
