Request a password by typing your name, email address and the date into the form at www.cybersafes.com . Your new password will me emailed to the address you type into the request form.

Open your safebox by entering the vault at www.cybersafes.com , pressing the enter button, typing your password then pressing open.

If the password fails, refresh your browser window and check that Jarva is enabled in your browser security and advanced options. Delete any spaces before, in or after the password.

If a message says "page cannot be found", press your back button or right click and select back.

Try again. Then if necessary, request a new password.

If you see a message about frames, you may need to use a different browser.

Return from your documents to your contents list by pressing the back button or clicking the view tag and selecting go back.

Ignore popup windows which some browsers may show as you open your safebox as they should not prevent you from opening it.

Access a demo safebox. Cybersafes provides password access to a virtual deposit box on a web server as a demonstration. A person may access the virtual safebox by submitting an email address and requesting a password combination number. The password combination to a safebox is emailed to the person who is to use it. The safebox contains a homepage showing a contents list linked to other web-page documents and images.

Transfer files from your computer to your safebox on the remote server and back by using a file transfer program, such as the free WS_ftp, Select files from your computer shown on the left of the screen, select a folder in your safebox on the right of the screen, press a transfer button, and see the files transferred into your safebox.

Download and set up WS_ftp. A download web link for free software and specific setup and login instructions for file transferring are supplied with each safebox.

Preview files in your computer by using your file manager program, such as Windows Explorer, or your file transfer program, such as WS_ftp. To preview files in your local computer or in your safebox on the remote server using WS_ftp, click a file once and press the exec button to open the file in whatever program is associated with it.

View web pages which you have transferred into the public directory of your safebox, by using a web browser, such as Internet Explorer. Log in to your contents page and use the links and the back and forward buttons to move from one file to another, Close your safebox by pressing the home link.

Secure files by not linking any web pages into the pages or to other files in your safebox. Do not bookmark as a favourite any web page in your safebox. Use the page templates provided with special coding to help prevent viewers from copying the text of the web pages in your safebox and to prevent browsers from reaching web pages in it directly without a password. Do not use more than one backup program or one program may delete files backed up by another.

Backup files manually to your safe box at your own discretion using the file transfer program.
